Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, was in charge. husband of the late Mrs. Amy Jane Hocking Sheaffer, who died in January, 1877.

Born in Lancaster, a son of the late Samuel S. and Ida Weachter Sheaffer he wu owner and operator of Sheaffer Meets for over 60 years at the Lancaster Central Market. He wu a member, of the Plymouth Brethren Church, Monterey Chapel. He is survived by one daughter, Ruth wife of Vincent Collier of Columbia six son: Samuel Ill, Leola; Paul D. and James G.

both of Lancaster; John Wheaton, Dr. Harold Newtown Square; and Victor Tucson, Ariz. Abo surviving are 28 grandchildren eight greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Rhoda Krall, Lancaster. Funeral services were held at 11:20 a.m. Monday in the Groff Funeral Home, La neuter, with-the Rev.

Parke Ranck, Blue Ball and A. LeRoy Ranch and Paul E. Ronk, both of Honey Brook, and two daughters, Anna Belle, wife of Mervin Blank, Wayne, and Mrs. Mary Simpson, Wat Chester. She also is survived by two brothers, LeRoy Styer, Honey Brook, and Ralph Styer, Glenmoore; a sister, Mrs.

Lena Book, Bristol; 12 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Labs Funeral Home, Honey Brook, with the Rev. Char lea C. Evan, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. Samuel S. Sheaffer, Jr. Samuel S. Sheaffer, 82, of 1808 Lincoln Highway East, died Friday evening at Lan-cuter General Hospital after a brief illness.

He wu the DonatuT. Fray Neffsvli Donatus Natty T. Frey, 87, a self-employed painter who resided at 2649 LI tits Pike, NeffsvUle, died at 5:38 am. Wednesday of last week in the I Osteopathic Hospital after a two-week illness. A lifetime resident of Neffs-ville, Mr.

Frey retired from painting 12 years ago at the age of 75. He was of the Methodist faith. Born in Rapho Township, a son of the late George and Lizzie Frey, he was the husband of Nora Reidenbaugh, who died in I960. Surviving are six children: Mae Smith, Lancaster; Helen, wife of Paul B. Spickler, Litltz; Elmer, Columbia; Charles, Leola Rl; Robert, Nefhville; and Richard, Atlantic City, J.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; 28 greatgrandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Lausch, Pleasant View Rest Home, Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Spacht Funeral Home, Utits, with the Rev. Mantzor New Hdand Edwin R. Mentzer, 72, of 98 Ashlea Gardens, New Holland, formerly of Leola, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He was under the care of a physician. He and his wife, Myrtle E.

Byers Mentzer, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary last October. in 1975 Mr. Mentzer retired from work as a carpenter for Guy M. Musselman with whom he was employed for over 40 years. He was a member of the Zeltenreich-ML Tabor United Church of Christ Born in New Holland, Mr.

Mentzer wu a son of the late Isaac C. and Leah Good Mentzer. In addition to Ms widow, he is survived by a son, Kearney Cupertino, a daughter, Judy wife of Galen R. Wibner of New Holland; two grandsons; two brothers, Amos New Holland, and Lloyd B. Metnzer, Elverson; and one sister, Mary, wife of James Frankhouaer, New Holland.

and Mrs. Marvin Emmert, Sweet Home, and is a graduate of Western Mennonite High School. He also attended Oregon State University.
