Services Today Deaths Reported Ivy Jo Eckman, 46, of Lancaster, died on Tuesday evening, April 3, 2018, at her Cabbage Hill home. She fought a ten year battle with disease. She was the loving wife of Patrick Allen Sanchez, for over thirty years. Prior to her illness, Ivy had worked for the former Miller Hartman, Inc. and Precision Form, both in Lancaster.

Born January 4, 1972, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Lynn Eckman (2008). Ivy enjoyed Bingo and spending time with her family and was an avid 49ers fan. During her younger years at Reynolds Junior High, she played field hockey and ran track. Ivy was also second runner-up for the National Spelling Bee. She will be lovingly missed by her husband, and their son, Patrick Allen Sanchez, of Lancaster; extended family and caring friends.

He was married 59 years to Mabel Z. Sensenig Weaver. Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Martin Weaver. Raymond was a farmer and a member of the Centerville Mennonite Church. He had operated a roadside produce stand for many years.

Surviving besides his wife are four sons, Nelson husband of Esther Weaver of East Earl, Sanford husband of Lindsey Weaver of New Holland, Mark husband of Lorraine Weaver of Womelsdorf, and Jay husband of Sharon Weaver of East Earl; daughters, Marlene wife of Lester Groff of Ephrata, Nancy wife of Carl Martin of Lititz, Pearl Good of Lititz, Ruthie wife of Mike Weaver of Quarryville, and Roseann wife of Darvin Rutt of Denver; 32 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, LeRoy husband of Wilma Weaver, and Harry, Jr. husband of Linda Weaver; five sisters, Louella Horst, Mary Jane Lehman, Kathryn wife of Roman Musser, Beulah wife of Wilmer Musser, Mildred wife of Lester Musser. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Verna Weaver, two granddaughters, a sister Esther Mae Oberholtzer and a brother Richard Weaver. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at 10:00 A.M. at the Centerville Mennonite Church, 201 Sensenig Road, Ephrata, PA with Harold Good, Brendon Weaver, Wilmer Weaver, Roy Zimmerman and Mervin Burkholder officiating.

Weaver Helen E. Smith, 95, widow of the late George H. Smith, passed away on April 3, 2018. One of 9 children, she was born on June 24, 1922 to Fred Bessie Saurbaugh. She is survived by a sister, daughter-in-law, stepson, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will take place from 6-8 PM on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Viewing will continue from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 10 at the funeral home. Helen will be laid to rest at Conestoga Memorial Park.

Smith Obituaries C. Raymond Eshleman, 93, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra formerly of Cleona for 56 years died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in the M.S.

Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary Newcomer Eshleman with whom he celebrated 72 years of marriage. Born in Manheim on April 6, 1924, he was the son of the late J. Daniel and Mabel Hershey Eshleman. After his farming career in Manheim, he retired as the area manager for Hanover Brands.

Ray was a member of Fairland Brethren in Christ Church, Cleona where he served as a Deacon, Youth Leader, and Stephen Minister. He was a volunteer for RSVP of Lebanon County, served with his neighborhood crime watch, and enjoyed C. Raymond Eshleman reading, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are three sons Donald N. husband of Fay Eshleman of Stone Mountain, GA, Dennis N.

husband of Deirdre Eshleman of Tubac, AZ, David L. husband of Cindy Eshleman of Jonestown, a brother Henry H. Eshleman of Green Castle, 4 grandchildren, 1 stepgrand- daughter, 2 great- grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother J. Robert Eshleman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Londonderry Village DiMatteo Worship Center, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Erisman Mennonite Cemetery, Manheim. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
